New website, new music, free music!
Welcome to the new emberafter.com! The website has been completely revamped and considerably streamlined since it’s debut around 2008. The main features are:
• From any page, you can listen to our featured tracks in the Soundcloud player in the sidebar. Since we believe that autoplay is obnoxious, the songs don’t play until you select them. You’re welcome. Also note that there will be demos, cover songs, and other treats you can listen to in the soundcloud player such as our cover of Rush’s Subdivisions that aren’t available any other way. Enjoy!
• You can also join our mailing list from the sidebar as well.
• If you liked the Geartalk feature of the previous site, all of Orren’s music technology related posts will still be collected on the Geartalk page.
• The Music Store page contains all the songs that we have for sale, directly on the page. You can play every song in it’s entirety as well. If you go directly to our Bandcamp page you can download individual songs, and even read the lyrics.
Speaking of Misery, that’s our other big news—The Misery EP is now available! You ca buy it directly from iTunes or from the Music Store page via bandcamp. If you buy from our bandcamp page, it’s cheaper, you can download the music in higher resolution, and in addition to getting the music and cover art, you get the liner notes as a PDF download as well. It’s a win-win!
